A:  The following items will be allowed into the airshow:

Q:  So what items can’t I bring?

A:  For your safety and those around you, please do not bring the following:

Q:  What can I expect at the security checkpoints?

A: All items, including purses, diaper bags, etc. will be subject to search and or x-ray at the checkpoints. Back packs, coolers and large tote bags are not allowed. Signs will be placed at each of the checkpoints reminding arriving spectators of these and other restrictions. Security officials may refuse admittance to persons attempting to bring these items to the airshow.

Q:  I’m a parent.  Can I bring a stroller or a wagon?

A:  Yes. But all strollers and wagons will be subject to search and or x-ray at the security checkpoints. Please bring only necessary items. Please do not bring any large diaper bags or other large parcels.  We want to be able to get folks into the show as quickly as possible and we need your help!

Q:  Will I be able to return to my car to store a restricted item?

A:  Sure thing!  Signs will be posted throughout parking lots reminding people but if you forget, you may be allowed to return the item to your car (as long as its not against the law!)

Q:  I am flying in, do these rules pertain to me?

A:  You betcha!  Please do not bring those items mentioned above through security, and if you do forget, secure them in your aircraft and don’t be caught walking around with them!

Q:  What if I ride a motorcycle, can I still get on Ellsworth AFB?

A:  Absolutely!  All we ask is that you wear a DOT-Approved helmet while on the installation

Q:  Are there any rules about driving on Ellsworth AFB that I should know?

A:  Yes there is.  Please refrain from using cell phones while driving on Ellsworth AFB.  This helps ensure the safety of all on base.  Anyone other than the driver can still use a cell phone.

Q:  What else can I do at the Dakota Thunder Airshow besides watch the aerial performers?

A:  Lots of stuff!
